About The Position

The Maintenance Worker for Camber Mental Health (CMH) would do the following: · Painting, patching, and maintaining indoors · Fixing plumbing issues (pipes, fixtures, leaks) · Handling minor electrical repairs · Repairing furniture, doors, fences, windows · Performing groundwork (snow removal, minor repairs, upkeep) · Building shelves and functional items · Responding to urgent repair calls (on-call rotation) · Other duties will be assigned based on maintenance needs. · Shifts available is Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

Requirements

  • You can perform drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, electrical, and repairs independently
  • You have a valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
  • You can lift up to 50-60 pounds and work indoors/outdoors as needed
  • You can accept on call for urgent facility issues
  • Must be 20 years old to apply
  • Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school preferred. Completion of at least 10th grade required.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • One-three months related experience and/or training.
  • Has basic mechanical aptitude and can fix things without step-by-step instruction
  • Is reliable, steady, and takes pride in completing work
  • Can work independently without constant supervision
  • Is comfortable in a mission-driven environment (behavioral health setting)
