Maintenance Worker
About The Position
Maintain general cleanliness of all Freedom House campus facilities and grounds. Assist or oversee remodeling facilities as needs arise. Contact outside repair companies as needed. Obtain quotes for repair jobs, remodeling, and parts/supplies as directed by management. Work in conjunction with management staff to ensure consistent level of maintenance in residential and clinical buildings according to industry regulations. Responsible for all agency vehicle care and reporting of any operational issues to the Operations Manager. Ensure all vehicle registrations and inspections are current. Adhere to all Freedom House policies and procedures. Work in conjunction with other Maintenance and Grounds staff to oversee care of Freedom House tools and equipment ensuring proper working order and safekeeping. Provide Operations Manager with all invoices/receipts for maintenance related charges (vehicle repairs, gas, cleaning supplies, etc.) Provide direction when appropriate to any resident in the Work-Service Program or Community Service Program that is working in maintenance or grounds-keeping. Back-up person to pick up food and supplies from stores and agencies and deliver to appropriate Freedom House facilities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Check MaintainX app several times daily and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
