About The Position

This position supports the Facilities team in maintaining safe, functional, and well-kept properties across Winnebago County, contributing directly to the organization's ability to serve the community.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned facilities repair tickets in a timely manner, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting.
  • Provide support on property projects across all county locations, including delivering supplies between properties as needed.
  • Operate a variety of organizational vehicles safely in support of facilities and operational needs.
  • Perform lawn care, grounds maintenance, and snow removal at assigned properties; off-hours work required as necessary.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance work for all county properties.
  • Support event setups and teardowns at various properties as directed.
  • Assist with special projects at county properties as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
