This Maintenance position is based out of our Appleton, WI location. We assemble water softener products and have a retail location at this site.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing maintenance or related environment experience.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs, bend, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance work on production equipment, compressors, etc.
  • Trouble shoot and be the contact for the appropriate contractors for service for electrical and plumbing needs beyond general maintenance.
  • Recognize and diagnose when a piece of equipment is not working up to its capabilities.
  • Make recommendations or assist in scheduling and/or performance of PMs.
  • General facilities maintenance to include but not limited to cleaning, painting, grounds work (shoveling, salting, exterior upkeep, etc.), replacing/moving office equipment when needed
  • Work with outside contractors on major electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC issues, including major machine repair and rebuilding.
  • Responsible for general safe practices and cleanliness of work area, including performaing instections of ladders, electircal hazards, eye wash stations.etc
  • Responsible for some basic security checks to make sure doors are shut and cameras functional
  • Responsible for any other duties as assigned by supervision, either from communication through the department Leader or directly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
