Maintenance Worker
About The Position
Will handle the daily operations of general maintenance duties Working knowledge of commercial building repair & maintenance to include electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentry Must have excellent customer service skills Minor automotive repair to include tire repair, fueling and service of small engine equipment Proficiency in welding and fabrication is desired Familiarity of running motorized lifts and being able to work on scaffolding and ladders, above 20-ft if necessary Must be safety conscious Flexible with working schedule and the ability to work over time if needed Perform snow removal duties, operation of snow plows, tractors, backhoe and street sweeper. Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning fluids
- Above average oral communication skills

- High capacity for learning
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years casino/general maintenance
- Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods and frequently work on ladders and scaffolds, indoors and outdoors
- May work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions, or in confined areas, or other uncomfortable places
- Must follow strict safety procedures at all times to avoid injury
- Moving/lifting up to 75 lbs. & climbing
- Must have full range of motion
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel
- Ability to work at heights 20 feet or above
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Able to operate a computer, radio and phone

- Proficiency in welding and fabrication is desired
