About The Position

Maintain physical building and property grounds. Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming. Strip, seal and polish floors. Gather and empty trash. Wash all windows both inside and outside twice yearly. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Steam clean or shampoo all carpeting. Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment. Scrub and disinfect bathrooms, urinals, toilet bowls and other fixtures daily. Fill all paper dispensers etc. paper toweling, toilet paper Fill all soap dispensers. Report any damage to school property to Director of Childcare. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas. Set up, arrange and remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare for school’s functions. Requisition supplies and equipment needed for building maintenance. To be on duty in the building when events are scheduled outside of regular school hours. Promote and support the environment of positive behavior support. Serve as a role model for students, maintaining values such as integrity, respect for self and all others, dignity, self-control and respect. Attend in-service training sessions, staff meetings and seminars as needed. Perform all other assigned duties Must be able to read and write English.

Requirements

Must be able to read and write English.
Education: High school or GED.
