Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Texas Drivers License
• Basic general maintenance skills training and/or minimum two years related experience, including, at least one of the following: plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, steam plant, metal work, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests by pager, radio, telephone or other methods of communication.
• Performs emergency repairs using proper trouble-shooting techniques.
• Conducts periodic inspections/tests based on pre-determined priorities and conditions.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment as specified.
• Maintains logs of inspections, tests, servicing, and repairs as required.
• Completes work orders as required.
• Participates in and supports a process to improve performance of services.
