MAINTENANCE WORKER - PLUMBING

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker with a strong background in plumbing to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities, with a primary focus on plumbing infrastructure, while also assisting with general facility upkeep and maintenance. All applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as background checks.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- A plumbing license (Journeyman) from the State of Colorado is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in plumbing, whether in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, is required.
- Fundamental understanding of general maintenance skills (e.g., framing, drywall).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Capability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- A valid driver’s license and insurance are required.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortably working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor locations, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to sinks, toilets, water heaters, pumps, and fixtures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repair, basic electrical work, and groundskeeping.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Be available for after-hours emergencies as needed, including being on-call.
