QSAC pursues this mission through direct services that provide a supportive and individualized setting for children and adults with autism to improve their communication, socialization, academic, and functional skills. The Maintenance Worker - Janitorial is responsible for upholding the safety and appearance of the physical location of a QSAC facility. This is a Full Time (FT) Maintenance Worker - Janitorial opportunity. The salary range for this position is $16.50-$20.00 an hour. Driver license highly preferred.

- Must have 1-2 years’ general maintenance and facility cleaning skills
- Requires the ability to read, write and communicate effectively with others
- Attendance and punctuality is essential

Responsibilities
- Building Maintenance Responsibilities include, but limited to, cleaning bathrooms/kitchen, mopping, sweeping, and/or vacuuming floors, Hygienic cleaning, and garbage collection and removal.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout facilities, completing assigned checklists that include daily, weekly, and monthly detail
- Adhere to building/maintenance/codes to ensure health, safety & welfare of facilities, individual and employees
- Prioritize work to complete time sensitive issues first.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and use responsibly.
- Demonstrate safety and care of equipment and supplies to protect from damage and theft.
- Complete projects including moving furniture, deliveries, painting, plastering, etc. in an efficient and timely manner.
- Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities.
- Report for QSAC events for preparation & breakdown as needed. May include weekend & evenings
- Commitment to company values, adherence to policies, and maintain individual/family confidentiality
- Attendance and punctuality is essential.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to determine best way to fix problems and communicate delays or emergency reassignments to supervisor
- Respond promptly to program needs throughout facility
- Identify problems in the facility and inform supervisor as soon as they are discovered
- Work independently in the building, staying focused on assigned tasks and priorities
- Report to work for snow removal as needed
- Maintain family and individual confidentiality
