About The Position

Completes and/or assists with assigned building repairs, construction projects, preventive maintenance and custodial duties.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, and kneel.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move 25-100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years related experience and/or training in a maintenance environment; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes and/or assist skilled trade’s workers in daily maintenance.
• Completes and/or assist with picture framing, hanging pictures and carpentry projects.
• Completes and/or assist with custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping and picking up trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
