  • Perform semi-skilled manual labor using hand tools and equipment.
  • Dig up and backfill water mains, services, and meters for maintenance and repair.
  • Clean and restore job sites, including landscaping tasks.
  • Maintain order in the utility yard and shop area.
  • Clean and paint commercial meter vaults, valve boxes, and fire hydrants as directed.
  • Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment as directed.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in manual work.
  • Valid State of Florida Class 'B' Commercial Driver's License with air brake and tanker endorsement.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools used in water distribution work.
  • Ability to participate in a rotational weekly after-hours standby roster.
  • Knowledge of occupational safety rules and regulations.
