About The Position

The Maintenance Worker position at the Choctaw Nation involves performing routine maintenance on machines, mechanical equipment, and structures. The role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of various facilities, reporting directly to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This full-time position offers a structured work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and includes options for weekly earned wage access.

Requirements

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and basic maintenance.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Knowledge of mowers, tractors, power tools, and cutting torches.
• 2 years of experience in equipment and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems in multiple locations.
• Manage and complete small scale projects, including developing plans and material lists.
• Assist team members with tasks, ensuring safety and quality workmanship.
• Paint interior and exterior walls and trim, using paint and painting tools.
• Assist with general repair and upkeep of machines and equipment.
• Maintain and repair multiple structures using different hand and power tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on different machines, equipment, and structures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
