Maintenance Worker - Golf Course

About The Position
Maintenance Worker, under the general supervision of the Golf Superintendent, maintains the golf course and associated facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in maintenance or operating related equipment
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Performs general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, sod work, seeding, and watering for greens, parks, and assigned facilities
- Maintains trees and planting areas, which involves planting, pruning, pest control, fertilizing, and weed and vegetation removal as needed
- Operates and maintains assigned irrigation systems and ornamental fountains
- Ensures cleanliness of grounds by removing ground litter and properly disposing of trash from containers on a timely schedule
- Performs janitorial services to clean and maintain park restrooms
- Completes required daily paperwork for the department
- Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
