About The Position

General Definition of Work Performs work responsible for the maintenance of the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. Essential Functions ● Maintains the ground of the Jaycee Municipal Golf Course including mowing fairways and greens, weed and tree trimming and other landscaping related responsibilities. ● Performs required responsibilities related to turf care and chemical application. ● Maintains and repairs golf course maintenance equipment. ● Removes trash from the golf course and pro-shop and ensures water distribution stations are maintained. ● Sets up for and clean up after golf tournaments. ● Available to respond and to work weekend and holidays as needed. Participates in a rotation of weekend coverage of golf course maintenance. ● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position.
  • Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.

  • Available to respond and to work weekend and holidays as needed. Participates in a rotation of weekend coverage of golf course maintenance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Total compensation value (Hourly starting rate plus benefits value) for this position is $24.73 hourly/$51,437 yearly.
  • Before final appointment, successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a drug test, background investigation and pre-employment physical.
