About The Position

Assists with all department and City approved special events and maintains parks. Regular schedule - Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays based on events, inclement weather or as operational demands require.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assists with special events to include setup, staging, breakdown, and cleanup
• Provides general park maintenance for play structures, pavilions, fencing, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, playground equipment, etc.
• Assists in maintaining grounds at City owned facilities and properties as assigned
• Removes trash/debris from assigned areas to include parks, roadsides, sports facilities, and other public areas
• Completes and submits required paperwork
• Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
