About The Position

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance of one of our transitional housing programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and/or related maintenance experience required.
• Clean and valid driver's license required.
• Previous maintenance experience is needed.
• Needs the ability to establish workload priorities.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions is needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the interior of the building includes; vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wax/buffing floors, emptying all garbage, taking care of recycling, cleaning windows, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Snow removal on the property.
• Changing light bulbs, fixing switches and outlets, and other maintenance as required.
• Painting of property as needed.
• Sweeping and keeping the exterior property of the building free of trash, leaves, etc.
• Maintaining and ordering maintenance supply inventory.
• Helping unload deliveries of supplies.
• Delivering packages and mail to other sites when required by the Director.
