About The Position

AKJ Chemicals has an opening for a Maintenance Utility in our Wyoming Operations, located in Gillette, WY. The ideal candidate will possess the skillset to help take our business to the next level! The Maintenance Utility will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment located on various mine sites in the Powder River Basin. Requirements

• Must have a valid Drivers License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and build business plans for mechanical and automation projects.
• Develop, maintain, and document system programs according to project needs.
• Train end users on system upgrades.
• Evaluate and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment, either personally, or through outside vendors.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on application systems.
• Fabricate and modify parts and equipment, as necessary.
• Evaluate the status of mechanical equipment and perform or schedule needed repairs.
• Initiate and purchase equipment, parts, and supplies used for mechanical system maintenance in compliance with departmental and company policies.
• Provide emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate.
• Assist in the preparation of bid specifications for mechanical equipment.
• Maintain records, prepare reports and other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment as requested by the supervisor.
