Additional information about the company can be found at . JOB SUMMARY: Performs general maintenance tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead person. Provides functional support to craft workers and technicians for equipment and facilities work assignments, projects and PM's. Operates fork trucks, aerial lift equipment and other powered equipment. The use of ladders, raised platforms, caged lifts, and manual climbing on equipment at various heights up to and including 60 feet is required. This is a safety sensitive position. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Operate plant power sweeper/scrubber throughout factory facility in accordance with predetermined schedule.
  • Operate plant fork trucks throughout the factory facility for material handling purposes.
  • Operate all aerial lift equipment.
  • Change and replace light bulbs throughout the facility as needed.
  • Work under direction of Maintenance lead person to clean, paint, clean windows, shovel snow, run snow blowers, and perform basic facilities repairs.
  • Assist maintenance technicians in equipment / machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Handing tools, supplies and materials to other workers; preparing the work area; and cleaning the work area or equipment.
  • Use of basic tools.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Completes daily checks as required on equipment and maintenance operations.
  • Parts cleaning and handling.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks by Maintenance Department Supervision or leads.
  • Complete all required paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
  • Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, and clean/restock area at end of shift.
