Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and testing instrument and electrical equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to drive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Ability to ensure Mechanical and Electrical continuity.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement safety initiatives and monitor safety awareness of crew regarding housekeeping, daily activities, and management of change.
  • Willingness to recommend and initiate innovative costs saving solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, direct the activity of others, assess skills of team and delegate work assignments.
  • Design and troubleshooting knowledge of electric motors and related equipment including motor starters, motor protection relay, and variable frequency drives.
  • Design and troubleshooting knowledge of electrical process controls, instrumentation (pressure, level, flow, temperature) and burner management systems.
  • Must be well versed in applicable codes, government regulations, and safety standards, pertaining to electrical systems such as NFPA (70, 70E).
  • Must be self-motivated and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with wide range of technical, analytical, and managerial personnel.
  • Ability to lead execution of work and resolve technical engineering and operational issues in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervising employees in the I/E Department.
  • Coordination of daily maintenance activities.
  • Manage work notifications and work orders in SAP.
  • Provides technical leadership to the I&E group.
  • Communicate with Operations Department to properly schedule maintenance activities.
  • Maintain safety and environmental performance.
  • Drive employee performance and development.
