The DuPont Water Solutions business is seeking an experienced candidate to serve as Maintenance Group Leader and Turnaround Manager at the Midland, Michigan site. This person has shared responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel, and the achievement of plant related business goals for Ion Exchange Resins, Copolymer, and Divinylbenzene facilities. The Maintenance Group Leader encompasses a range of management and technical skills and a thorough understanding of plant systems, processes, policies and procedures. They will also have leadership and oversight of the maintenance team, approximately 17 talented individuals along with several embedded contractors. The leader must have excellent influencing, collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills. Possess strong leadership values alongside mental agility, self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision or oversight. An owner mindset is a must for success. The Midland Ion Exchange Resins Unit is a part of Michigan Operations, one of DuPont's largest sites and home to manufacturing operations representing each of DuPont's 3-businesses. As part of DuPont's Water and Protection portfolio, the Water Solutions business provides purification and separations technology into multiple market channels. Ion Exchange Resins are primarily used for water purification, food & beverage processing, and pharmaceuticals manufacturing. These resins are also heavily used in power generation facilities that supply electrical power to consumers around the world. As part of the local Water Solutions leadership team, they will help define and implement the business strategy at Michigan Operations.
