The Fleet Ballistic Missile Program is seeking a Maintenance Trainer to join our mission! In this role you will administer Qualification, Certification and Licensing programs at the FBM Strategic Weapons Facilities Atlantic (SWFLANT).

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelors degree or higher or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Instructor/teaching experience.
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance. Cannot be dual citizen. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Training Specialist certification or equivalent.
  • MHE/Crane licensed operator.
  • Demonstrate Web Based Training development experience.
  • Learning management system experience, preferably QCT.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal relationship and customer service skills.
  • Display strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering formal classroom and hands-on instruction to internal and external customers.
  • Delivering training in other subject areas supporting the TCOE (Training Center of Excellence) as directed by TCOE management.
  • Developing and revise curriculum to support program requirements.
  • Providing instructor led and web-based training.
  • Coordinating with Learning Management System (LMS) administrators to ensure all production organization training requirements are properly tracked and maintained with the LMS.
  • Having the ability to commute throughout the United States and United Kingdom locations serving as an independent trainer to support production organization and TCOE training requirements for all FBM locations.
  • Training at all levels including individual students, LM management, and customer organizations at all FBM locations.
  • Carrying out all duties and responsibilities within local, state, and federal laws.
  • Adhering to all program safety and security requirements.
