About The Position
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and electrical equipment and systems according to established procedures. Performs troubleshooting and root cause analyses of machine and system issues. Utilizes manuals, work orders, hand and power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks. Assembles, disassembles, replaces, and calibrates machinery and parts as needed.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a local Vocational Technology Program
- Must be 18 years old due to OSHA REGULATIONS
Responsibilities
- Grease all fittings on machine and document completion
- Change and clean oil and air filters
- Change hydraulic oil
- Clean and lube drive chains and shafts
- Assist maintenance techs on projects
- Other duties as assigned
