The position is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and basic technical repairs in various building and utility/support systems. The role includes assisting with maintaining life safety systems and required documentation.
Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems and documents tasks through the computerized maintenance system.
Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
Operates and monitors and maintains basic Utility System Infrastructure.
Assists in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
Supports the installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.
Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance.
Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments.
Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training.
Valid Driver's License.
2-4 Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
Intermediate level computer skills in using systems such as CMMS, Microsoft Office, Building Automation Systems.
Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with minimal oversight with intermediate level technical skills in facility maintenance.
