EMI Services is hiring a Maintenance Trades Helper who supports skilled technicians by performing manual tasks, handling tools, and assisting with repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Key duties include cleaning work areas, transporting materials, conducting routine preventative maintenance, and assisting with building repairs. They work under supervision to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently. Salary $27.01/ hr. plus $10.00 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k! Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in trades assisting
Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Regular, dependable attendance
U. S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
Must lift 75 lbs. unassisted
Must work in extreme weather conditions - summer peaks at 120° Fahrenheit
Must wear appropriate Person Protective Equipment (PPO)

Responsibilities

Assist journeymen with installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, electrical components, and plumbing systems.
Carry tools, materials, and equipment; hold materials for skilled tradespeople.
Perform routine tasks such as changing filters, lubricating components, and cleaning cooling towers.
Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, and repairing walls, floors, and fixtures.
Clean work areas, organize tools, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Operate and maintain hand and power tools.
