As a Maintenance & Tooling Clerk within PPG's Aerospace Business you will process data, assist with parts ordering and inventory control while providing direct support to the Maintenance and Tooling departments. Additionally, you will perform essential clerical and logistical tasks to ensure accurate data processing and operational efficiency. This onsite role will sit in our Grand Prairie, TX location. You will report to the Facility & Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities Data Control & Process Maintain and revise lists, control records, and coding schemes required for accurate data processing. Code source data, calculate batch totals where applicable, and input data with appropriate documentation for computer processing. Audit system output to ensure accuracy and verify control totals. Distribute output reports according to established procedures and instructions. Receive and process input and output data from multiple sources, including grid sheets, scanned documents, paper records, and electronic files. Asset & Maintenance Support Help with implementation, data entry, and ongoing updates. Collaborate with the Maintenance and Tooling departments to support parts ordering, tracking, and inventory management. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure parts availability for preventive maintenance (PM) schedules. Help identify, organizing, and documenting parts needed for PM activities. Maintain accurate records related to maintenance parts, inventory levels, and usage. Logistics & Operational Assistance Make local runs to pick up required parts and supplies from vendors such as Stewart Hose, Grainger, or similar suppliers. Support maintenance personnel with administrative tasks related to work orders, PM documentation, and inventory updates.
