About The Position

The Tool Crib & Maintenance position at Clayton Homes is essential for managing the distribution of tools and supplies to team members while maintaining an organized filing system. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work respectfully with team members.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot or willingness to learn to troubleshoot tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to communicate issues to managers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work the tool crib window to manage supply distribution.
• Repair, clean, and tune up tools as needed.
• Repair Senco tools.
• Change router and hole saw bits.
• Repair electric cords and hoses.
• Replace glue tips at build tables.
• Change blades on chop and table saws.
• Issue and file paperwork for team member tools.
• Keep the tool crib clean and organized.
• Receive crib supplies from vendors and put away.
