About The Position

The Maintenance Technician at Siemens is responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on production equipment, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and assisting with new equipment installations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and maintaining a safe working environment. The technician will troubleshoot equipment issues, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience (GED).
• Prior knowledge of electrical code.
• Training in at least one trade (electrical, mechanical, machine maintenance).
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Ability to operate electric and hand tools and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on production equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and respond to operational problems and emergencies.
• Monitor and maintain CNC machinery, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance tasks effectively.
• Assist in supervising outside services as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
