This position involves maintaining the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds, ensuring that public and private living areas meet expectations in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to work with tools and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and community directors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment.
• Certifications related to maintenance or building management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.
• Respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas.
• Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.
