About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty & Collins Properties, you’ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition. You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed, address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally, and conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively. You will collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently, ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations, maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, assist with apartment turnovers, and respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Detail-oriented and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Proactive and enjoy solving problems with practical solutions.
  • Dependable and flexible, ready to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies when needed.

Responsibilities
