About The Position

The Maintenance Technician (Automotive Parts) position is located in the Greater Houston, TX area within the Automotive Parts Manufacturing industry. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including CNC, stamping, welding, and assembly lines. The technician will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime and support the installation and setup of new machines under engineer guidance. Additionally, the technician will maintain spare parts inventory and proper maintenance records, assist in safety inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Collaboration with production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Solid hands-on troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC basics, pneumatics, and hydraulics preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments and on-call for urgent repairs.
