About The Position

The Maintenance Technician Position is part of the Facilities Team. The Maintenance Technician maintains the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens
• Familiarity with the TELs system a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of similar experience
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to stay organized and multi-task

Responsibilities

• Preparing Residents Rooms for new occupants
• Handling general maintenance repair needs at the community
• Performing routine cleaning
• Using and maintaining vehicles, tools and equipment
• Maintaining the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards
• Working to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate and cooperate with others to ensure that projects are completed
• Keeping accurate maintenance records of work done
• Responsibilities include customer service, resident safety, maintenance, and communication
