About The Position

The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the presses, cutters, and finishing production lines to ensure they are working effectively. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and adjusting parts. The position works Monday-Thursday from 1:45 PM to 11:45 PM.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Technician, or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Knowledge of electrical power and control voltage
• Troubleshooting PLC devices, printers, and labelers; Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic wiring diagrams
• Basic computer and math skills
• Forklift and scissor lift experience
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance checks on all equipment and follows preventative maintenance procedures
• Ensures compliance with safety and OSHA regulations; administers lock-out tag-out procedures on unsafe equipment needing repairs
• Supports the installation, development, and startup of new processes
• Documents procedures and maintains maintenance records
• Maintains inventory and good repair of all assigned tools and equipment
• Communicates essential information regarding incomplete repairs at shift change
• Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical problems and determines corrective actions, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned
