About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery is in good working condition. Also responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance while following all company policies & processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or (GED) is required
• Technical or vocational degree in related fields
• Bakery experience is strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of related industrial maintenance experience is required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on the machinery and building, as needed
• Know and understand the emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure
• Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns
• Oversee maintenance of the facility and all equipment
• Work closely with production to ensure that all product is produced in a timely manner with the highest food safety and quality standards
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot all motor controls such as HMI's and PLC's
• Diagnose automation components such as HMI, PLCs, I/O, VFDs
• Identify communication systems on automation devices
• Perform basic programming of PLC's
• Design and implement ideas and innovations to successful projects to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability
• Sanitary welding a plus but not a requirement
