About The Position

The position involves performing maintenance and repair work on various types of equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The role requires knowledge of electrical wiring specifications, local and national electrical codes, and the ability to service and repair manufacturing and test equipment. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring safe working practices and performing safety inspections.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electricity, power distribution, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, heat transfer, rotational molding, rigging, and welding
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• No written reminders in the last 6 months
• No safety violations in the last year
• Good attendance record

Nice To Haves

• Ability to upgrade controls and program PLCs

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment documentation/manuals
• Lift, push or move a minimum of 60 pounds
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Complete Lockout/Tagout training
• Complete Electrical Safety training
• Obtain and maintain a lift truck license
• Work overtime as needed
• Maintain good attendance
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Repair and maintain all Auxiliary process equipment
• Upgrade controls and program PLCs as needed
• Service manufacturing and test equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components
• Ensure safe working practices are followed
• Perform safety inspections
