Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in providing effective and preventive machine/equipment/building maintenance to enable the company to maintain optimum production capability and product/service quality assurance. With Safety at the forefront. The training period expected to be a year depending on level of experience and technical skill. This role is located in Heyco Reading, PA and will be fully on-site.

Requirements

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Able to work overtime or on call.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Pick up ordered maintenance parts, as needed utilizing the company van - drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of all process equipment within the facility.
• Learn the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist in building maintenance.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Proficient in the operation, preparation and shutdown of equipment.
• Proficient in welding, pipe fitting, hydraulics, electrical (3 phase 480, PLC knowledge) and machine repair.
• Cross training required in the roll grind shop.
• Trained and follow hot work program.
• Trained and follow working at heights program.
• Trained and follow Arc Flash program.
• Able to be approved to wear a tight-fitting respirator requiring fit testing.
• Able to be certified in forklift operation.
• Able to be certified in High lift operation.
