About The Position

The Maintenance Technician position is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, performing preventative maintenance, and handling the installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical and electrical experience, familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics, and basic troubleshooting skills with a proven ability in machine repair. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality of various automated industrial machinery, which includes motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, and industrial/electronic controls. A strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings. The position requires a strong PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, along with practical mechanical and electrical aptitude. You will also need to be fully computer literate, particularly in a Microsoft environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner is crucial, as is the flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed. This position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift from 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with a starting wage of up to $38.50 per hour, depending on skills and abilities.
