Requirements

  • At least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience with affordable housing experience preferred
  • Able to work emergency on-call rotation as needed
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Committed to exceed expectations of those around you by providing exceptional service

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape
  • Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property's systems in good working order
  • Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner
  • Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor
  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections
  • Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards
  • Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs
