About The Position

A confidential, high-volume manufacturing facility in the Sarasota/North Port, FL area is looking to hire multiple experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their night shift operations. This is a high-priority search, and qualified candidates will be reviewed quickly and given priority interviews. Requirements

• 4 – 20 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Stable employment record required—no job hoppers. Consistent long-term roles in previous positions are a must.
• Ability to work a 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM rotating night shift.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conducting preventive maintenance (PM) to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Assisting with machine installations, upgrades, and process improvements to optimize production output.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, documenting all repairs and PM activities.
• Collaborating closely with production teams to ensure safe and efficient machine operations.
• Following all company and industry safety guidelines, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.
