About The Position

Under the supervision of the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of responsibilities including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations. The Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Technician are on-call for maintenance emergencies 24 hours per day, 7 days per week or as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED certificate and experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work weekends or overtime as job requires.
• EPA Certification preferred, Universal preferred.
• City and/or State certification requirements must be met if applicable (i.e. pool operations, maintenance, electricians, etc.).
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractors.
• Completing all routine service requests within 24 hours at the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensuring the clean condition of the community at all times.
• Maintaining the maintenance shop according to policy.
• Reporting maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
• Assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• All other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
