About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in a Maintenance Technician role
  • Experience maintaining PM via LIMBLE or similar software system
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation
  • Record keeping skills
  • Timecard processing experience
  • Experience with Net Suite or similar purchase requisition ordering platform

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude; ability to use mills, lathes, power tools, fabrication, MIG welding, and fork truck
  • Basic electrical and PLC knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics or hydraulic presses
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings related to equipment, construction, and facility

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preventive maintenance system and spare parts inventory
  • Perform furnace and equipment rebuilds as required to maintain operation and prevent unscheduled downtime
  • Collect data and identify pain points of equipment, making recommendations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
  • Plan maintenance repairs and projects, order materials, and arrange for outside services as required
  • Support maintenance team in maintaining, repairing, and installing machines, equipment, furnaces, and facility needs
  • Manage the completion of continuous improvement projects assigned by the Value Stream, Safety, or other departments
  • Monitor and report on employee performance and potential improvement areas
  • Maintain training competency within the maintenance team
  • Assure adherence to processes and procedures for safe execution of activities internally and with external contractors
  • Create a culture of responsibility and ownership
  • Be hands-on as required to support operation and timely execution of work
