About The Position
Sazerac Company is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team at The Glenmore Distillery in Owensboro, KY. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art bottling facility, which has been a cornerstone of the Owensboro community since the late 1800s. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, cleaning, and maintaining various machinery and equipment within the distillery. This role requires a proactive approach to conducting preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. The technician will be expected to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble machinery as needed, while thoroughly completing all necessary documentation. A strong understanding of blueprints, manuals, drawings, and sketches is essential, as is the ability to follow oral instructions. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and demonstrate mechanical skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
