About The Position

Southern Belle Vacation Rentals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Savannah and Tybee Island. This full-time position involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the properties are in excellent condition for guests. The role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, and general repair skills.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• At least five years of related general repair experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in property maintenance.
• Handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems.
• Conduct minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Adhere to the Company's Preventative Maintenance Program and work order process.
• Resolve work orders reported in a timely manner and respond to guest needs.
• Protect company assets by properly securing tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Report requests for major repairs to the assigned Maintenance Coordinator.
• Announce presence and enter properties in accordance with company standards.
• Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests while in properties or any other area of the building.
• Assist other employees in various assignments.
