About The Position
Precinmac is a leading supplier of mission-critical, precision machined components used in the aerospace and defense, semiconductor, and automation equipment sectors. We specialize in manufacturing uniquely designed high tolerance precision machined components and assemblies, with a focus on continuous improvement, on-time delivery, and the highest possible quality and consistency. We are currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our award-winning team. This position is essential for maintaining our precision machining (CNC) equipment, ensuring that all machines operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in machine maintenance and a strong understanding of equipment repair. This is a second shift position, working Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance inspections and servicing machines. This includes thoroughly cleaning machines and machine parts, oiling and lubricating moving parts, and recording any damaged or worn components. You will also be tasked with ordering and installing replacement parts, identifying causes of unexpected breakdowns, and repairing machines quickly and efficiently. Additionally, you will prepare reports documenting your work, maintain shop areas, and coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance. Collaboration with product managers or plant engineers will be necessary for new product modifications and testing runs. This role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
