About The Position
We’re seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our facilities. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment by performing light mechanical repairs, general upkeep, and routine maintenance tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Requirements
- Experience in a facilities or office maintenance environment preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous custodial experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing and HVAC repairs and clear drains
- Replace ceiling tiles, lamps, air filters, light painting fixex, and fire extinguishers
- Conduct touch-up painting in common areas and mechanical rooms
- Assist with snow and ice removal
- Maintain and repair door hardware, blinds, and furniture
- Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing materials and cleaning equipment
- Report safety hazards and larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team
- Follow ABM and client safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Support seasonal and event-related maintenance needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
