About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on stamping presses and other production equipment. This role requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Willingness to work required shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Proven commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, manlift, and crane – Working at heights
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and Fanuc robots preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
  • Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities during production.
  • Complete all scheduled maintenance on time and ensure proper documentation.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment failures, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret engineering documents, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Replace or repair parts, test functionality, and make necessary adjustments to restore equipment performance.
  • Communicate equipment issues and concerns to the technical team in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is current.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
