About The Position

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility operations across our entire campus. This role is responsible for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and security tasks that ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent overall troubleshooting ability across multiple disciplines, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems and building controls. Training will begin on 1st shift to gain familiarity with our buildings and systems before transitioning to a permanent 3rd shift schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and general repair skills
• Problem-solving ability with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and apply new maintenance and repair techniques
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs across all hospital buildings and grounds
• Respond to a variety of facility needs, including mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance tasks
• Ensure facility security during overnight hours
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all assigned areas
• Collaborate with the facilities team and other departments as needed
