About The Position

At Wing Inflatables, we have dedicated ourselves for over 30 years to giving rescue workers, the Coast Guard, Navy SEALs, river rafting guides, and kayakers the confidence to stay safe while performing with lightweight speed and agility on the water. The Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor supports preventative maintenance programs, supervises maintenance staff, and ensures facility and equipment readiness through strong leadership, planning, and execution. This role reports to the Facilities Manager and works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, Materials, and HR. The Supervisor leads a maintenance team in a safety-focused production environment. Position Purpose The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair operations to ensure machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems remain in safe and efficient working condition. This role supports production operations by maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with facility upkeep and fabrication needs. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and works closely with Shipping, Materials, Fabrication, HR, Quality Technicians, Engineers, and Production leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience performing routine equipment maintenance and diagnosing repair needs
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities and grounds maintenance (including light woodworking, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping)
  • Experience using power tools and hand tools, including drill motors and drill presses
  • Ability to inspect equipment and processes for safety and performance
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to manufacturing
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Relevant maintenance certifications

Responsibilities

  • Machinery Maintenance Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions using blueprints, manuals, and parts catalogs.
  • Repair, install, replace, and adjust machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
  • Lubricate machinery and perform routine preventive maintenance, including inspecting motors, belts, drives, and fluid levels.
  • Set up and operate machines; adjust controls to regulate operations.
  • Inspect, test, and reassemble equipment following repairs.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and records of production and repair activities.
  • Inventory and requisition parts, tools, and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Fabricate or repair machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools using machine tools.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas by disposing of worn parts and debris.
  • General Facility Maintenance Perform light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building repairs.
  • Repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, and other building structures.
  • Provide basic groundskeeping services.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning of buildings and properties.
  • Assist with moving and assembling office furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Additional Support Provide backup support to the Fabrication Department as needed.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and industrial trucks to transport materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs, installations, and equipment moves.
