About The Position

In this hands-on industrial maintenance role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed injection and compression molding equipment used to produce closures for popular food and beverage brands. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3 + years of experience of industrial maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform maintenance tasks to the satisfaction of the Maintenance Manager
  • Capable of working in a high-speed manufacturing environment with heavy-duty industrial equipment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Perform repairs on compression and injection molding machinery, auxiliary equipment and maintain systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Repair and rebuild spare parts using hand tools, measuring instruments, blueprints and schematic
  • Work with Team Leads, Quality Assurance Technicians, PTMs, Molders, Lining Technicians, and Printer Technicians
  • Observe and enforce all safety, security, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and HACCP programs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas and machinery.
  • Assist with building and grounds repairs, including snow removal.
  • Utilize EAM maintenance management software to enter and close work orders, track parts, and log labor hours.
