As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of a team performing project maintenance for clients, utilizing best systems to complete tasks such as fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, and using various tools. The role requires fundamental skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with an emphasis on continuous learning and growth. The Maintenance Technician I is expected to contribute to business relationships by anticipating and resolving potential issues to ensure optimal results.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks
  • Previous experience welding, grinding, painting required
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors
  • Experience and willingness working weekends
  • Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs
  • Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time
  • Fundamental skills working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities

  • Complete project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools
  • Help grow business relationships, using foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues
