About The Position

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Technician, where your skills will help ensure our property remains a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy hotel.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or facilities management
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
• Must be able to walk/stand a total of 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs.
• Must be able to carry 35–50 lbs. up to 200 ft.
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder level, kneel, grasp, push, and pull.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Assist with setup and breakdown for hotel events and functions as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies at all times
• Oversees all maintenance operations for the property, ensuring systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance programs, departmental leadership, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility for guests and team members.
